About the Stamford Chapter

AI Collective Stamford provides a no-judgment zone where the human layer comes together to connect, learn, and grow in the ever-changing Gen AI landscape.

We give companies an opportunity to demo their product to a captive audience, get real time feedback, introductions to potential employees, customers, and partners in and around Fairfield County at our Stamford AI Meetup. We create a space monthly for people to meet to vibe code as a group at Vibin' Out. And we gather Claude Coders to learn about Claude Code and what people in the community are doing with it.

Darrell DeMakes in

Stamford Chapter Co-Lead

Darrell is a digital product manager in the media space, with three decades of building digital products for companies such as A&E, History, WWE, and Disney. Darrell blends product strategy and hands-on execution. Based in Stamford, he co-hosted the seminal Stamford Tech Meetup. He likes shark tooth hunting, live band karaoke and metal detecting!

Wei Chen in

Stamford Chapter Co-Lead

Wei Chen is an Associate Professor at UConn School of Business and Academic Director of the Digital Frontiers Initiative. He is the author of the textbook Generative AI for Business and runs GenAI4All.org, an initiative focused on making generative AI accessible and practical for managers, educators, and organizations.

Kal Deutsch in

Stamford Chapter Co-Lead

Kal Deutsch is Managing Partner at Batchery AI Startup Studio, and has worked with entrepreneurs in 40+ countries. Kal is excited to bring together humanity and innovation at AI Collective. Kal is also an amateur filmmaker and has begun to explore AI's impact on media and its audience.
